5:00pm NUU CHAH NULTH DRUMMING Drumming and dancing performed by Nuu-chah-nulth members.
5:45pm BETTY SUPPLE & AUBREY BURKE Betty and Aubrey combine good ol’ fashioned folk music with their own freaky, wild child styles. Working hard at playtime and digging deep into the collective psyche, their plethora of noises and instruments create the soundscapes that carry their stories.
6:45pm THE CHOIR Victoria’s The Choir is a non-auditioned, community choir that sings all-original arrangements of pop, folk and indie music. What started as a small project based out of Larsen Music in early 2013 turned big in no time: 100 great people who love to sing their hearts out!
7:00pm STEL Stel is a brother and sister duo with a sound similar to Ben Howard, Of Monsters and Men, and City and Colour. They capture both the attention and emotions of their listeners.
8:00pm COMPASSION GORILLA Compassion Gorilla has a relentless drive to translate earthy and folkloric sounds into explosive performances that have been the life of wild dance parties for almost a decade.
9:00pm ELECTRIC SEX PANTHER A hard-working, hard-hitting band of young, multi-talented musicians from Victoria, BC. Their sound: a combination of RnB, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul and Jazz music, tightly arranged and performed at its maximum.

9:00am – 10:30am Community Pancake Breakfast We start the day off right with a by-donation pancake breakfast in the Square, generously prepared by our friends at The Fernwood Inn.
10:00am  Bike Decoration Station Meet on the Field of Dreams (aka the Vic High Field) to spruce up your bicycle before the Kidical Mass Bike Parade. There will be decorations and a bike mechanic on-hand to make sure you ride safely and in style.
10:30pm – 5:00pm Artisan Market & Market Stage Over 50 local vendors will be showcasing their unique items on the tennis courts beside the Vic High Plaza bringing you handmade clothing, jewelry, hoops, soaps, baked goods and more! NEW! Local musicians will serenade you at the Market Stage from 11:30am – 4:30pm.
11:00am – 5:00pm Field of Dreams

Family and kidz activities galore & all things fun: giant cardboard castle, community art projects, games, face painting, info tables, pop-up performances & Kidz Stage (Stage schedule bottom left).
11:00am Kidical Mass Bike Parade Kids! Get ready to glide through Fernwood’s streets. Meet in the Field of Dreams and tour through the ‘hood.
11:00am – 6:00pm Silent Auction Come bid on an amazing selection of items including concert tickets, yoga passes, coffee, art and more! Cash, credit & debit accepted. Located on the Vic High Field. Thank you to all donors.
11:00am & 1:00pm Walking Tours of Fernwood Join the Victoria Heritage Foundation on a guided tour of the heritage buildings in the ‘hood at 11:00 am. Also, join Matt on a tour of Spring Ridge Commons at 1:00pm & 3:00pm where you will explore the edible and medicinal plants of the site. Meet on the Field of Dreams @ Vic High.
11:30am – close BBQ FernFest’s BBQ brings you delicious eats including locally-made smokies, plus kid’s hot dogs, fresh salads, falafel wraps and Phillips Soda.
12:00pm – 10:00pm Ice Cold Refreshments The trailer bar in the Square is pouring fresh Blue Buck, Pilsner, Solaris by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. and Merridale Cider. (All ages location, 19+ to drink alcohol)
1:00pm – 2:30pm Seniors’ High Tea Join in on some good ol’ fashioned fun in the Fernwood Community Centre. Scones, tea and good conversation. (55+ years please)

12:00pm FUNK CANNON Specializing in their signature house-jazz genre, Funk Cannon is ready to burn musical rubber.
12:45pm VIC HORVATH Vic Horvath is a musically shapeshifting singer songwriter, based in Fernwood, Victoria. Horvath’s combination of roots and folk music is dark, warm and magical.
1:30pm LEKWUNGEN DANCERS The Lekwungen Dancers of the Songhees Nation were founded over 40 years ago by late Jim Dick, carried on by wife Dell and daughters Lyla and Beth Dick.

Maxim Cossette delights you with his fun and engaging glimpses of life on banjo and slide guitar.

Doug Koyama performs Improvised A Capella with a loop pedal which allows the layering of sounds, vocal percussion, and melodic and harmonic phrases.

3:00pm TREE TOP TRIO The Tree Top Trio derives their musical style after the fashion of nomadic eastern European guitar virtuoso Django Reinhardt who pioneered Gypsy Jazz and Swing Manouche.
4:00pm PHONOSONICS Phonosonics is a Roots Reggae outfit from Victoria, BC. This powerhouse group features soulful harmonies and electrifying danceability in a reverent update of this vintage style.
5:00pm CARTOON LIZARD Cartoon Lizard is a 5-piece psychedelic pop outfit. Each member is a multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/producer. Their songs are intricately arranged, multi-coloured compositions.
6:00pm TAN AND HIDE Tan and Hide will have you tapping your toes in no time. Their music is bluesy, hard hitting and rockin, yet punctuated by sweet and soulful vocals and lyrically driven songs.
7:00pm BOUSADA Equipped with a loop pedal, midi controller and a mic, BOUSADA’s unique sound and high-energy performances are rooted in his passion for building community.
8:00pm FERNWOOD COALITION A community of vibronic symphresh groovolition. A combination of funky hip-hop rhythms and soulful jazz that will get you grooving on the dance floor!
7:50pm & 8:50pm MADE IN ALCHEMY Made in Alchemy, a multidisciplinary performance art company, will dazzle your senses with their hoop performance. Their art is created through dynamic collaboration, inspired by an awareness of culture and nature. They specialize in theatrical performance art, aerials and fire dance.
9:00pm BUČAN BUČAN Bučan Bučan (pronounced loudly as “booCHAN booCHAN”) is a ensemble of musicians, inspired by Eastern European brass band traditions. Bučan Bučan puts a modern spin on traditional Balkan music, with spontaneous, theatrical performances that are not to be missed!
