New Mural at the Community Centre

We are very proud to announce that we have completed the mural on our  Victoria Emergency Management Agency (VEMA) bin. Our own Child Care staff, Sean Solberg, was the artist/designer.  He was assisted by Kathleen Unfreed (our Admin Coordinator), and Denyse Koo (our Family Programs Director).

Pole Painting Project Video

On May 28th 2011, 300 kids, neighbours, and local artists joined together in the streets of Fernwood, Victoria to painted over 100 telephone poles with original works of art.

This project was coordinated by Mila Czemerys of the Fernwood NRG, Emily Grav of The Paint Box School of Art, and Beth Threlfall.

Pole Painting Day Success
