Good Food Box
Fernwood NRG operates the Good Food Box, a non-profit fruit and vegetable box program. Anyone, across Greater Victoria, can access these affordable, fresh, healthy produce boxes. Good Food Boxes are available for pick-up at locations from Sooke to Saanich or home delivery every Wednesday. The Good Food Box purchases bulk from local farmers and suppliers—operating like a bulk buying club—and is packed and delivered by a wonderful team of volunteers. We prioritize locally grown produce with a focus on seasonal fruits and vegetables.

The Gift of Good Food
The Gift of Good Food is our annual holiday fundraiser which raises funds to provide Good Food Boxes to families facing food insecurity throughout Greater Victoria. We partner with 18 community service centres, grassroots food justice groups, and Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. Our partners select families who are in need of consistent, healthy produce to receive a year’s worth of fresh fruit and vegetables.
