Fernwood NRG provides programming for youth, parents-to-be, families, seniors and individuals. These range from prenatal nutrition and counselling through to parent support groups to our community meal to art drop-ins.
Fernwood Neighbourhood House current offerings:
Registered:
- Best Babies, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, A perinatal group for pregnant and postpartum people with children ages 0 – 1 years. Free, registered.
Drop-In:
- Fernwood Play Group, Mondays 10:30am – 12:00pm, A parent-led group for children 0-5 years and their grown-ups. It’s a space for children to come together and play. Snacks provided. Drop-in, free.
- Fernwood Community Meal, Mondays 5:30pm – 6:45pm, Join us for a delicious house-cooked meal & connect with your neighbours weekly on Monday evenings. By donation, drop-in.
- Youth Art Drop-In, Tuesday, October 21 and November 18, 2025, 3:30pm – 5:30pm, A drop-in arts-based program for teens, free, supplies and snacks provided.
- Seniors Connect: Intergenerational Art Drop-in, Thursdays 3:30pm – 5:30pm, A drop-in arts-based intergenerational program to connect across ages, free, supplies and snacks provided.
