The Fernwood Family Resource Program is a drop-in parent and child interactive group for parents with children up to 5 years of age where parents and children have fun, bond and interact through crafts, circle time, and play. This program also provides opportunities for parents to learn from staff and others through role modelling and in-the-moment learning around positive parenting, child safety and development, as well as participate in physical activity, all while promoting secure parent-child relationships.

When: Thursday, 9:30am-11:30am
Where: Fernwood Community Centre Gymnasium, 1240 Gladstone Avenue. Please enter through the gymnasium doors at the back of the building.

By donation, drop-in

For those doing child care, our policy is that you may bring your child and one other child to our program. Please understand that when there are significantly more children than adults it changes the dynamics of the program. We have chosen this policy to help keep the focus of the program on family support.
