Bio: Iris Moore is a north island-born artist and living in on Lekwungen territory (Victoria, B.C). She works in a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, stop-motion animation, and tattooing. Iris has worked as a professional artist for six years, in which time she has shown her work internationally, and received 11 awards from 4 different countries. She incorporates whimsical imagery into her work in order to evoke the imagination, and bring people into their sense of wonder. She believes that by engaging with inspiring imagery, we have the capacity to become more receptive to insight, wisdom, and curiosity, and she strives to encourage this with each piece she creates.
