Outdoor pursuits, leadership group and sports drop-ins for youth coming in September

Fernwood NRG is thrilled to be bringing new Youth Programs to the community starting in September 2017. From outdoor pursuits to leadership groups even a sports drop in night for tweens.
The youth in our community make a large portion of locality and we want to support them with new programs to get them involved in their schools, community and the neighbourhood.
Our Outdoor Pursuits program will be taking place on Saturdays from 9:00am to noon and we will be touching on environments such as; the ocean, the back country, the lushess forest and of course the mountains—for ages 12 to 15.
The Sports Drop-in is happening every 2nd & 4th Friday of the month for our tweens kids ages 7 to 11, come on down on Friday nights and meet up with your friends for some sports.
Our new Youth Leadership Group called Rooted will help youth develop their leadership potential and provide them with opportunities to learn, grow and make contacts. We will help youth build valuable leadership, teamwork, and social skills in a welcoming environment where they can make friends and learn how to integrate these new skills into their community.
