Small Pleasures is a post-punk duo from Victoria, BC. Lush melodies sit atop moody and atmospheric darkwave pulses inspired by post-punk mainstays of the late 70s to early 80s and shoegaze pioneers of the 90s.
Small Pleasures is a fusion between Viny’s hypnotic bass backed by Nevada’s textured drums and triggered synth mixed with lofty vocal melodies. After only two months of writing, they worked with Colin Stewart at The Hive (Black Mountain, New Pornographers) to record their self-titled debut EP, released in December 2023.
