Fernwood NH is a partner organization facilitating The Get Growing, Victoria! program. Join us in March, May, July, and September to access free soil-building materials (such as compost, wood chips, and leaf mulch) and seedlings. The City of Victoria aims to connect these materials to residents who face barriers to growing their own food.  

Dates and Times:
– Wednesday, March 11 from 3pm – 5pm (or until supplies last)
– Thursday, May 28 from 1pm – 4pm (or until supplies last)
– Thursday, July 30 from 1pm – 4pm (or until supplies last)
– Wednesday, September 23 from 3pm – 5pm (or until supplies last)
Where: Fernwood Neighbourhood House (1240 Gladstone Avenue) 
*In the skatepark behind the community centre. Please note that only foot traffic is allowed in this area.
