Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, from 11am to 4pm.

The Fernwood Art Stroll is a collection of neighbourhood artist and artisans who gather annually to plan an unjuried studio tour to show the public their wares. This is a chance to meet the creators in their home studios and yards and talk to them about their work and creative processes.

This year, we have almost 30 artists participating: painters, photographers, print-makers, weavers and textile artists, basket makers, painted furniture designers, glass painters, ceramic artists, jewellery designers, wood artists, sculptors, garden art designers, and even a live poet!

Many artists display their work in their exquisite gardens, making this free neighbourhood studio tour one of the most beautiful in the city.

Come and support our local artists making original art, and make a day of it. Stroll through our delightful neighbourhood at one of the nicest times of the year (the studios are all in our supremely walkable Fernwood). Make it a family event or invite your friends to join you and plan to visit one of our event sponsors for a coffee break or to sample the wonderful eateries abounding in Fernwood. Stop in and browse the unique shops in Fernwood Village.

The Pandora Arts Collective at 1923 Fernwood (home of the Little Fernwood Gallery and Theatre Inconnu) will be hosting its usual family-friendly art activities.

To meet the artists, and for the studio map, look for our brochures around the neighbourhood, or go to fernwoodartstroll.ca.

Come and help us celebrate our creative community, and support the makers of handmade, original arts and crafts!
