The annual Fernwood Art Stroll is back and we have an exciting array of local artists and artisans this year: painters, printmakers, photographers, basket makers, sculptors making whimsical art for your house and garden and furniture decorators. We will have a traveling minstrel poet and storyteller visiting the various studios, and the Pandora Arts Collective will again be hosting their family artmaking event in the Paul Philips Hall, at 1923 Fernwood Road.
This is an opportunity to visit artists in their studios, see their work up close, and chat to them about their process. It is also an opportunity to support our local artists by purchasing their work directly at studio rates.
Many of the participating artists have beautiful gardens as a bonus. Plan your route along our beautiful neighbourhood streets with the aid of our map (in our brochure, found in various local retail outlets, or at fernwoodartstroll.ca). Make this event a delightful experience for all the family, or with your friends, stopping for lunch, tea, or a drink at our participating sponsors venues.
A preview of the work of this year’s participants can be found online at our website, fernwoodartstroll.ca, and at the Fernwood Inn, where a group show is up in the back room.
See you at the Fernwood Art Stroll.
