Seeds of Diversity is coming to Victoria!Seeds-of-Diversity

Canada’s National Seed Saving Organization is celebrating our 30th Anniversary in Victoria, at the Fernwood Community Centre.

Everyone is welcome to join our national board of directors, staff, and members from the island and beyond for a day with guest speakers, seed saving workshops, seed vendors, and a delicious lunch.

Two very experienced seed savers will be leading workshops on seed saving. Our luncheon will be catered by chefs from “Little Piggy,” sourcing local and fresh ingredients. There will be a seed exchange and seed vendor booths open all day. Our gala speaker is Linda Gilkeson, speaking on Year Round Harvest. She will be selling her books at our event.

COST: $40 for day, free from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. to visit seed exchange and vendors. To pre-register for event (before Oct. 21) click https://www.seeds.ca/mbr/member.php.
