Please join us on Saturday, June 10th, and Sunday, June 11th from 11 to 4 for the 10th Annual Fernwood Art Stroll. This year there are 15 artist studios to visit, including the several artists in the Pandora Arts Collective, at the Little Fernwood Gallery artspace.
The Fernwood Art Stroll is an unjuried collection of artists and artisans who work together to put on this event, to open our studios to the public. You can download the map from our website and plan your way through the neighbourhood. Our brochures will be available around town too.
This year we have baskets, paper mache bowls, photographs, art cards, blown glass, pillows, prints, watercolours, drawings, cement garden pieces, oil and acrylic paintings, and multimedia works for you to discover. The painters range from abstractionists to landscape painters; then there are florals and some are whimsical and evocative.
Look for the directional signs at street corners and the balloons and lawn signs at each studio.
Invite your family and friends along and make a day of it. There are many wonderful coffee shops, and great eateries in Fernwood. This is a great way to explore your neighbourhood and the works of the many artists who live here.
